What is a Bola?
The Mexican bola or pregnancy chime is a pretty and original
necklace for pregnant women. Inside the bola, a tiny sort of xylophone is welded, on which a little ball 'dances' around.
From approximately twenty weeks into pregnancy, a baby can hear and recognise sounds in the womb.
By wearing the ball regularly, low on the belly, the baby
will grow familiar with the chiming sound of the bell. The baby will experience the special sound as soothing, both before
and after birth. There is a variety of designs, and colours available. Below is just a selection of some of them!

Tricot-slen is a long wrap that you can wear in various manners. In addition to the four carrying manners
of the Tri-cotti, you can carry your baby in two other ways with the Tricot-slen: sitting straight-up with curled legs (the
so-called kangaroo position) or on the back. The tricot-slen divides the weight of the baby over the abdomen and the hips.
As a result, the Tricot-slen is extremely suitable to carry older children for a longer period of time. The
Tri-cotti consists of two fabric shafts that are very easy to put on and with which you can carry your baby
in four different manners: - Lying down (during the first months),- Sitting straight-up, facing you,- Sitting straight-up,
facing the world,- On your hip The Tri-cotti is available in 3 sizes: Small - Medium - Large. The correct
sling size is not determined by reference to your baby. As your child grows, the fabric will stretch, and the Tri-cotti will
always fit. Only take into account your own clothes size to see what sling size you need. Note: after use, the material will
stretch by about 5 centimeters. The BB-sling is made in a Fair Trade project in India. The special
sling is woven according to the best weaving technics for slings. Two aluminium slings allow easy adjustment, which makes
the BB-sling very comfortable and easy to use from birth up to 3 to 4 years. The BB-slen is a very
comfortable woven sling, made in a Fair Trade project in India using the best weaving technique for slings. The BB-slen comes
in 3 sizes: 260cm, 490cm, 560cm. The short version can be used as the BB-sling does. The choice between a 490 and a

The benefits of wearing your baby in a Sling
Babies yearn skin After nine months of warmth, movement and constant contact with mother, birth is a huge transition
and babies are in need of a great deal of intimate contact with the parent. Babies who are carried close to the belly, visibly
enjoy this direct physical contact. The cherishing body-to-body contact fulfils a primal and profound need of the baby and
offers it an ideal position to discover the world.
Safe and secure In a cotton sling, baby feels safe and secure, it feels the body warmth, hears its mother's voice and
heartbeat. The baby recognises mother's scent and has constant direct eye contact with her. Carrying your baby in a sling
undeniable has numerous advantages.
Babies cry less Research indicates that babies who are carried on a daily basic cry significant less. In a sling, a
baby is not forced to passively and awaitingly spend the day, but it participates naturally in the daily activites of the
parent. Hence, the baby can observe and hear quite a bite, which is beneficial for its psychological development. When things
get a bit too much, the baby simply closes its eyes and falls asleep against the chest of the carrier.
Stimulates balanced development In the security of the sling, baby experciences the world from its safe position. The
huge amount of stimuli it has to deal with in a brief period of time do not inspire any fear, because it is so close to the
mother. This feeling of security results in the development of a positive self-image and later on, it will form the basis
for a confident and assured personality. Contrary to old popular belief, it has become clear that carrying your baby does
not lead to overindulgence and dependency, but that it rather accomplishes the opposite.
And the fathers... In the first few months, it is quite often not easy for the young father to develop an equally close
bond with the baby as the mother. However, with a sling he can undertake things in a very early stage, with the baby safely
tucked on his belly. Carrying safely and comfortable With the Babylonia slings, you can carry your baby both lying-down and
upright. And this is unique! The first few months, your baby comfortably lies against you in the natural 'comma' position.
Baby's back, neck and head are not burdened, but supported optimally. As of approximatily three months, the baby can be carried
sitting upright. It is then seated on a wide bearing surface, it's legs spread and with a rounded back. This is an ideal position
for the development of healty hip joints. Your baby does not hang, but leans relaxedly against you.
Ergonomically sound Ergonomic experts agree that a baby should not be forced into a harness. Carrying harnesses in
which a baby is strapped vertically are not good for the baby's back because its head pushes too heavily on the spine at this
stage in his life. In a sling, the baby's back is absolutely not burdened: the baby need not carry himself; it simply leans
against the parent, without burdening the back. A slen is undoubtedly also the most pleasant carrying system for the parent.
The wide coton slings covering the entire shoulder surface of the two shoulders, completely divide the baby's weight over
the upper part of the body. Neck and back are barely or not burdened. There are no buckles or buttons nothing is too tight
or jammed.
